The 3DIVERSE project convened for its fourth meeting on 27th of March, hosted at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Ljubljana. This meeting marked the halfway point of the project and showcased the tangible outcomes achieved across various areas of its scope.
Nejc Jurko from KSSENA, acting as the project coordinator, moderated the presentation and detailed the key operational aspects that have contributed to the project’s success and efficiency. Discussions featured prominently, with representatives from Utility company Velenje and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering providing insights into their efforts to revitalize district heating systems. They highlighted both the progress and the challenges encountered thus far.
Additionally, KolektorSetup discussed its advancements in future energy systems within the 3DIVERSE region, while KSSENA explored their strategies for the energy retrofitting of buildings, including innovative financing mechanisms being considered within the project framework.
An essential focus of the meeting was on the project’s communication and dissemination strategies. Effective dissemination is critical to maintaining the visibility and transparency of the project, sharing results with stakeholders, and influencing future initiatives. The meeting concluded with two key presentations on these topics: Dissemination and Communication, and Sustainability, Replication, and Exploitation of Project Results.
The discussions emphasized the importance of not only sharing findings but also ensuring that the impact of the 3DIVERSE project extends well beyond its immediate results, fostering sustainable and replicable solutions in energy management and infrastructure development.
