The 3DIVERSE project was successfully presented at the SZE 2025 International Conference, held at the Grand Hotel Bernardin in Portorož. The event brought together experts in energy, environment, digital innovation, and sustainability, all working toward the acceleration of advanced energy systems.

Two 3DIVERSE partners participated in the event Komunalno podjetje Velenje and Laboratory for refrigeration and district energy from University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

Komunalno podjetje Velenje presented a case focused on the transformation of the district heating system in the Šalek Valley.

The presentation featured the premiere of a video animation developed within the 3DIVERSE project, showing Phase 1: the comprehensive renovation of pipelines and supporting infrastructure.

The 3DIVERSE project is developing an open-source mathematical and simulation model for the analysis, optimization, and strategic planning of district heating systems. This digital tool enables precise thermal simulations, smart upgrade planning, and investment and energy savings assessments.

University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering presented the DHNpype tool. The presentation took place within Section of District Heating and Cooling and highlighted how the tool can be used to support the transformation of existing district heating systems.
