The 3DIVERSE consortium met in Ljubljana on March 12 for its 6th General Project Meeting, hosted at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering by project partner Kolektor sETup.

As part of Work Package WP2, we reviewed progress on the district heating system renovation in Velenje and Šoštanj and made a plan to further explore the integration of renewable energy sources into the existing energy supply system. Faculty of Mechanical Engineering presented an interesting model in development that will help predict potential disconnections of consumers from the district heating network.

In Work Package WP3, a digital twin will be used to assess and electrify the existing vehicle fleet.

With only a few months left until the end of the project, the main focus of this meeting was the “Exploitation Strategy Seminar” workshop, conducted as part of WP7. Led by Laboratory of Energy Policy, we worked with project partners (KPV, KSSENA, Kolektor sETup, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering) to define the Key Exploitable Results of the 3DIVERSE project. We split into groups, and each group summarized the key outcomes of specific work packages and outlined ways to use them after the project ends.

This workshop marked the beginning of the final exploitation strategy preparation, which will continue in the coming months. The main document, “Sustainable Adoption Roadmap,” will be presented at the end of the project, providing clear guidelines on how to exploit and replicate the developed results after the project ends.
