Members of the 3DIVERSE consortium went on a professional trip to Croatia.

Enhancements to local energy concepts, the workshop that our partner Laboratory of Energy Policy (UL)  participated in was organized within the LIFE IP CARE4CLIMATE project, which is an integral project co-financed by the European LIFE Programme, the Climate Change Fund, and the partners; KSENNA, Jožef Stefan Institute Energy Efficiency center, Ministry of Environment, Climate, and Energy and Focus, Association for Sustainable Development.

LEST partners participated in a roundtable and workshop, organized by the Municipality of Ljubljana and the Save the Homes project partners, on 18^th of May 2023, to discuss the state and future of the Slovenian renovation market at the local and national levels.

On May 16th, some 3Diverse members participated in the engaging event focused on renewable energy communities and inter-trading opportunities. The event took place in Dol pri Hrastniku, Slovenia, and was held as part of the EU project NRG2peers, supported by Horizon 2020.

The second 3DIVERSE project General Meeting took place on the 11^th of May in Velenje, Slovenija. The meeting was hosted by project coordinator KSSENA at a wonderful setting in Kmetija Krničnik with a view of Šaleška Valey. Each of the five key partners discussed their current and future activities. 

We are pleased to announce that the first newsletter of our project has just been released. This newsletter is packed with updates and information about the progress of the project in the first two months and we can't wait for you to read it.

The Municipality of Velenje has purchased the Stara elektrarna complex from Premogovnik Velenje at the end of the year 2022. Under the guidelines of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, they will start the renovation of the building and establish an industrial-educational park, the Centre of the Future.

The Kick-off meeting for the 3Diverse was hosted by project coordinator KSSENA on the 6th of October 2022 in Velenje, Slovenia. In addition to the all-project partners, also project officer Daniela Bachner from the European Commission attended the meeting.
