We're excited to announce the release of our second biannual newsletter, packed with updates and insights.

Key highlights include our participation in the Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum and the CINEA Contractors meeting in Brussels, where we presented our vision for sustainable energy infrastructure.

The 3Diverse project was invited to two important events in Brussels - the Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum and the CINEA Contractors meeting between the 25th and 26th of October.

We are happy to announce the launch of the 3Diverse brochure, offering a comprehensive overview of the project's key progress points. Currently available in Slovenian for local citizens, an English version of the brochure will be available soon.

Following the 3rd General Meeting, some members of the 3Diverse consortium participated in the Šaleška Development Forum, a regional event that took place in Velenje on October 17th.

The 3Diverse partners have met in Velenje (Slovenia) at the 3rd General meeting hosted by the project coordinator KSSENA. Progress made on the 3Diverse over the first year has been discussed in detail and the comprehensive work plan for the forthcoming quarters has been set.

Borzen's Sustainable Energy Local Conference 023, on 21st of September, focused on the importance of actively involving citizens in the green energy transition.

The City Municipality of Ljubljana has committed to gradually achieving climate neutrality by 2030 as part of the Mission 100 initiative for climate-neutral and smart cities.

Komunalno Podjetje Velenje (KPV), together with the founding municipalities, and the Šoštanj Thermal Power Plant (TEŠ) have concluded an agreement on cooperation in the planning of the transformation of the district heating system in the Šalek Valley, which is the basis for the drafting of the project dossier for the gradual transition to renewable energy sources (RES).

During the summer, project coordinator KSSENA held a consultation meeting with the Peter Novak Consortium for Sustainable Technologies (KSTPN).

KSSENA representatives attended the European Sustainable Energy Week 2023 (EUSEW) in the end of June. We were looking for solutions and ideas for projects that could be implemented within the 3DIVERSE project.
