We are pleased to announce that the consultancy office of the Borzen RES Info Point for the Promotion of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) has been launched in the premises of the KSSENA in Velenje. The office is open to anyone who intends to establish renewable energy system for the generation and/or storage of renewable energy and need assistance with project implementation, support on getting all essential consents and permissions, or information on investments.

Nejc Jurko from KSSENA, the 3DIVERSE project coordinator, held a presentation about community self-sufficiency, opportunities for citizens, and ways to get involved in such communities.

We're happy to announce that we've released a third newsletter summarizing what's happened in the last six months of 3DIVERSE project.

One of the significant highlights was the 4th 3DIVERSE General Meeting in Ljubljana, where the consortium's members gathered and presented the tangible successes achieved in various segments of the project over the previous 18 months, which also marked the project's midpoint.

On April 22^nd and 23^rd, our 3DIVERSE partners from Komunalno podjetje Velenje (KPV) visited two companies in Vienna: Wiener Netze GmbH and KLINGER Fluid Control. Both visits presented exemplary practices in energy supply and network management.

The 3DIVERSE project convened for its fourth meeting on 27^th of March, hosted at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Ljubljana. This meeting marked the halfway point of the project and showcased the tangible outcomes achieved across various areas of its scope.

Razvojna agencija Savinjsko-šaleške regije, together with 3DIVERSE partners - Velenje Utility Company, the Municipality of Velenje, the Municipality of Šoštanj, and Zavod Kssena, has prepared a brochure on the topic Towards Energy Savings Together: Transformation of the District Heating System of the Šaleška Valley. The brochure contains a wealth of useful and practical content and information intended for end-users, residents of the municipalities.

Workshop: How to plan projects for the installation of solar power plants on public buildings and surfaces, organized by the company Borzen in collaboration with the Municipality of Ljubljana and the Institute for Public-Private Partnership, is the first in a series within the BORZEN contact point.

The event about the challenges of placing wind and other energy objects in space, organized by the local energy agency Energap in Maribor last week for representatives of Drava municipalities, highlighted key guidelines for projects in the field of renewable energy use.

This year's event ACADEMY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING 2023 (Akademija strojništva) took place in Slovenia's main cultural and congress centre, Cankarjev dom, where the most innovative personalities from industry and academic sphere were awarded.
